What is intertextuality? Intertextuality is when a certain areas in media are referred to in another form, this can just be a reference to another media form or it can be done on a larger scale where things are recreated. This is done on music videos because it attracts a wider audience and allows the audience to have a better understanding. An example of this can be seen in love actually 'Christmas is All around' which uses Robert Palmer's 'Addicted to love'.
